Who We Are

A portal to the creativity, innovation and resources of the Ontario college system

CONNECT Strategic Alliances is a partnership of Ontario’s 24 publicly funded colleges.  Established by the college presidents and board chairs, we connect industry, business, communities and government to the education and training resources of the Ontario college system. A not-for-profit organization, CONNECT establishes strategic partnerships between Ontario’s colleges and business, industry and government, working to enhance the profile of the colleges as deliverers of training and, in the process, managing multi-site/multi-college contracts.

Mandate

CONNECT’s mandate is to:

• Promote the services of Ontario’s colleges to provincial employers, acting as a single point of contact.
• Advance the college system’s role in key areas, including skills training, labour market development and innovation in delivery.
• Foster partnerships, both internal and external, that expand the profile and reach of the Ontario college system.
