Our project management process starts at the consultation level with the client, developing an in-depth proposal that details the scope, timeframe and budget of the project. Once these fundamentals have been established, CONNECT works together with the client to clearly define the project plan, mitigate risks and challenges, and build the best team possible for success. CONNECT projects have been both short and long term, and we are proud of our record of developing and delivering quality training courses across the province through the college system . We also pride ourselves on our ability to develop and administer longer-term, innovative systemic change initiatives, for the benefit of the Ontario community and beyond.
Examples
Colleges Integrating Immigrants to Employment (CIITE) manages a multi-stakeholder program of several projects within the Ontario college system. This program develops system-changes initiatives for skilled newcomers. From project charter to closure, the CONNECT CIITE project office works with the colleges and other stakeholders to develop and deliver innovative solutions such as Advising Services for Internationally Trained Immigrants. The CONNECT SCALES project is a Pan-Canadian project that spans three years, necessitating the use of methodical project management processes. From the setting of the project scope to risk assessment and mitigation, from the development of a project Charter to the establishment of a communications plan, the SCALES project team routinely uses PMBOK™ fundamentals to keep the project on track towards the end goal, ensuring the team can evaluate the project’s progression.
